Pursuant to the Court's November 21, 2007 Order, the Securities and Exchange Commission ("Commission") submits this status report, apprising the Court that the Commission has not yet acted on the tentative settlement agreement between the Commission and Grant D. Seeger. In accordance with the Court's May 6, 2008 Order, counsel for the Commission has remonstrated with her client about the need to act on this matter. The Commission has been pursuing approval of the tentative settlement agreement, but an issue has arisen that has precluded the Commission from acting on this matter. Commission counsel believes the issue may now have been resolved. Counsel is willing to attend a telephonic hearing to respond to any questions that
