15 number one, plaintiff files this report. On January 10, 2006, the undersigned received the status report attached hereto and 16 17 incorporated by this reference as Exhibit A. The aircraft has been moved to a repair facility; the 18 engines have been removed and sent to a location for evaluation, maintenance, and repair. The 19 evaluation of the systems present on the airframe are continuing. Plaintiff will continue to 20 provide periodic updates regarding the progress of the repair of the aircraft as similar bulletins 21 or reports are received. 6 The depth of the corrosion removal in one area on the trailing edge of the right wing spoiler 7

is beyond limits. This spoiler will be replaced. Learjet does not presently have a replacement in stock, and one will have to be assembled.

8 The installation and operational check of landing gear and landing gear components have 9 been completed. 10 The corroded areas of the aircraft will be painted this week. 11 The aircraft was refueled and checked for leaks. No leaks were detected. 12 13 14
An initial cost estimate was received for the left engine. However, no detailed tear down report to include discrepancies noted and the labor, parts, and materials needed for repairs were provided. We have requested this information be provided. The tear down report for the right engine was not received during the week as expected.

15 We are continuing in our efforts to have Bombardier/Learjet accept responsibility for 16 replacement of the windshields. A letter stating our position on the windshields was 17 no response to our letter. 18 The replacement of several corroded hi-lock structural fasteners and the completion of 19 Service Bulletin 31-57-4 in the right and left wheel wells have been completed. 20 The replacement autopilot computer that was received on 12-09-05 has been installed and 21 returned. 22 23 24 25 26 27 28
