Approximately April 23rd of 2003 Sally called a meeting with Marcela (I was sitting in during the meeting) to
discuss her behavior with the team.
At this time, Marcela wasn't speaking to several folks on the team, including but not limited to Teresa, Sarah, Rob
and Lesa. Her attitude was very difticult to penetrate and she felt that how she reacted to her team wasn't an

issue as long as she got her work done. Sally asked her what she thought her attitude caused her team to do and
how her team felt. Marcela said she didn't think her attitude was an issue on the team at all. At this time Sally
told her that she was a "strong forceful woman" and she very well knew that she was a strong influence on the
team. Sally told her she thought she was manipulative and she also brought up her issues during the UAT
project. The PM had shared several things with Sally about MarceIa's attitude, about the fact that she thought she
lied about why she was leaving early and that she was MIA for large blocks of time during the day and was rude
to her on the phone.
There was a lot of confrontation during this meeting. Marcela became quiet and cried several times. Some
strong language was used during this meeting (about 5--6 times) in a very confrontational way directed toward
l\/larcela.
Marcela left for home right after the meeting and was out for two additional days.
