She asked me what the meeting today was about. l told her. She _said she had told me the info about Ed
in confidence. We had a discussion about what my responsibility is when an employee bnngs HR issues
to my attention and she seemed to understand.

Later she asked to see me again and said she couldn't go through with it. She was so upset about this that I
she had thrown up and was feeling very ill. l told her that we were still going to have the 12:30 meeting. I
Just wanted you to know what the situation will be like. .
FYI, she just found out that one of her aunts has cancer and may not have long to live, That is another
_ reason she isn‘t "up to going through with this."
