Accordingly, the parties request that the court permit them additional time to hold the mediation. The parties' request is GRANTED. The parties shall file another joint status report, no later than Wednesday, October 1, 2008,1 indicating the progress of their settlement discussions. However, if the parties reach an impasse in their discussions before that date, they shall file a joint status report within two weeks of the impasse suggesting further proceedings in the case. IT IS SO ORDERED.
