UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT DISTRICT OF ARIZONA UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, Plaintiff, vs. DANIEL SAMANIEGO-CACHON, Defendant. ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) NO. CR03-01097-003-PHX-ROS
ORDER
Pursuant to Defendant's motion to continue, the Government not objecting, and good cause shown thereto, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Defendant's motion to continue is granted pursuant to 18 USC §3161(h)(8)(A) and the trial date of March 6, 2007, in this matter is continued to June 5, 2007, at 8:30 a.m. This Court specifically finds that the ends of justice served by granting a continuance outweigh the best interests of the public and the Defendant in a speedy trial. This finding is based upon the Court's conclusion that the failure to grant such a continuance would deny the Defendant the reasonable time necessary for effective preparation, taking into account the exercise of due diligence. 18 USC §3161(h)(8)(B)(iv). IT IS FURTHER ORDERED extending the pretrial motion deadline to April 27, 2007. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED setting a status hearing on April 16, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. /// ///
