Pursuant to Defendant's motion to continue, the Government not objecting, and good

cause shown therein,

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Defendant's motion to continue is granted
15
pursuant to 18 USC §3161(h)(8)(A) and the trial date of September 5, 2006, in this matter
16
is continued to November 7, 2006, at the hour of 8:30 a.m., and the motion deadline is
17
extended until September 29, 2006.

This Court specifically finds that the ends of justice served by granting a continuance
19
outweigh the best interests of the public and the Defendant in a speedy trial. This finding is
20
based upon the Court's conclusion that the failure to grant such a continuance would deny
21
the Defendant the reasonable time necessary for effective preparation, taking into account
22
the exercise of due diligence. 18 USC §3161(h)(8)(B)(iv).
