14 15
Pursuant to Defendant's motion to continue, the Government not objecting, and good
16
cause shown therein, to wit: The evaluation of the Defendant is not yet complete, and the
17
subsequent final report will take approximately two weeks.
18
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Defendant's motion to continue is granted

This Court specifically finds that the ends of justice served by granting a continuance
22
outweigh the best interests of the public and the Defendant in a speedy trial. This finding is
23
based upon the Court's conclusion that the failure to grant such a continuance would deny
24
the Defendant the reasonable time necessary for effective preparation, taking into account

the exercise of due diligence. 18 USC §3161(h)(8)(B)(iv).

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED extending the pretrial motion deadline to June 27, 2007.
