Plaintiff,

vs.
12
ORDER
DANIEL SAMANIEGO-CACHON,
13
Defendant.
14 15
Pursuant to Defendant's motion to continue, the Government not objecting, and good
16
cause shown therein,
17
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Defendant's motion to continue is granted
18
pursuant to 18 USC §3161(h)(8)(A) and the trial date of October 2, 2007, in this matter is
19
continued to December 4, 2007, at 8:30 a.m.
20
This Court specifically finds that the ends of justice served by granting a continuance
21
outweigh the best interests of the public and the Defendant in a speedy trial. This finding is
22
based upon the Court's conclusion that the failure to grant such a continuance would deny
23
the Defendant the reasonable time necessary for effective preparation, taking into account
24
the exercise of due diligence. 18 USC §3161(h)(8)(B)(iv).
25
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED extending the pretrial motion deadline to October 25,
26
2007.
