Pursuant to the Court's Order of October 19, 2005, Plaintiff United States of America and

15 Defendant Merrie Sue D'Avis hereby file this Joint Statement Regarding the Status of Unresolved 16 Issues following the Status Conference held on October 19, 2005. On or about November 14, 17 2005, Defendant completed an U.S. Department of Justice Financial Statement of Individual 18 Debtor form ("Financial Statement") and returned that document to the United States Attorney's 19 Office. The United States is in the process of reviewing and analyzing Defendant's Financial 20 Statement and plans on propounding written discovery to Defendant within the next thirty days. 21 Following completion of some initial discovery, the parties plan on discussing the possibility of th 22 settlement.
