______________________________________________________________________________ Status Report Re Jury Instructions ______________________________________________________________________________ Defendant William Sablan, through undersigned court-appointed counsel, submits the following status report regarding the parties proposed jury instructions. 1. Counsel for William and AUSA Brenda Taylor have been in communication regarding jury instructions, and have provided each other with their proposals. 2. It is apparent that there are instructions upon which the parties should be able to reach agreement. 3. The parties will continue to confer between now and the hearing on January 3 - 4, 2006 hearing, at which time we will provide an updated status report to the Court regarding the jury instructions. WHEREFORE, counsel for William Sablan submits this status report.
