iii Pursuant to this Court’s directive at the November 9, 2007 status hearing, Plaintifif Q
19 Northern Wisconsin Produce Company, Inc. (“i\iorthern Wisconsin") herewith submits its
20 report on the status of settlement discussions between the parties. On November 12, 2007, the
21 undersigned forwarded a settlement offer to Defendant Steven Delaportas. The undersigned
22 has heard nothing from Mr. Deiaportas since the date the settlement offer was transmitted.
23 Further, the undersigned has been attempting to reach Mr. Delaportas’ co—criminal defendant,
24 Robert Bertola, in hopes of having him deposed prior to Mr. Bertola serving his jail time. To
25 date, Mr. Bertoia has not been located for service to compel his attendance at a deposition in _
26 this case.
