17 Defendants Regis Corporation ("Regis") and Super Cuts move the Court for an
18 award of attorneys’ fees. See Rule 54(d)(2), Fed.R.Civ.P., and Local Rule LRCiv
19 54.2(b)(1).
2() LRCiv 54.2(b)(l) requires a motion for attorneys’ fees to set forth: (A) the
21 applicable judgment and the statutory or contractual authority entitling the party to the
22 award; and (B) the amount of attorneys’ fees and related non-taxable expenses sought.
23 A. Applicable Judgment and Authority
24 On June 27, 2006, this Court entered judgment in favor of Regisl and Super Cuts

l on all of Plaintiffs claims, which included her claims of race and national origin
2 discrimination and retaliation2 under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of l964, 42 U.S.C.
3 § 2000e, et. seq. (Title VII), age discrimination under the Age Discrimination in
4 Employment Act of 1967, 29 U.S.C. §62l—34 (ADEA) and alleged violations of the
5 Family and Medical Leave Act, , 29 U.S.C. § 2601, et. seq. (FMLA).
6 Defendants seek fees only for those claims brought pursuant to Title VII. Under
7 Title VII, the Court may, in its discretion, allow the prevailing party its reasonable
8 attorneys’ fees. 42 U.S.C. 2000e—5(k).
9 B. Amount of Fees
l0 As noted in the preceding paragraph, Plaintiff pursued five (5) causes of action:
ll (l) race discrimination; (2) national origin discrimination and (3) retaliation under Title
l2 VII; (4) age discrimination under the ADEA;and (5) alleged violations of the FMLA. The
I3 amount of fees related to Plaintiffs Title VII claims are $83,073.30. (See Defendants’
I4 Memorandum of Points and Authorities in Support of Attorneys’ Fees.) This amount of
l5 fees represents 60% of the total fees incurred by Defendants, i.e., defending the three Title
I6 VII claims (out of the total of five claims) advanced by Plaintiff.
