Respondents respectfully request an extension of approximately 90 days, until August 10, 2007, to respond to Petitioner's Merits Memorandum--said response is currently due on May 10, 2007. This is Respondents' first request for an extension of time, and counsel for Petitioner, Mr. Gary Lowenthal, has no objection to the extension. This extension is necessitated by the fact that undersigned counsel's case load, has increased significantly due to the medical-leave-of-absence of a coworker, and the need to "cover" that person's cases. This extension is requested so that an adequate response to the Merits Memorandum can be prepared and is made in good faith and not to delay these proceedings.
