Defendant now alleges that he did not receive a copy of the government's supplemental

15 filing, document number 144. The government's legal assistant mailed defendant a copy on the 16 date that it was filed. The defendant indicates he sent the government a letter on April 18, 2008, 17 requesting a copy of the motion. The government has never received such a letter. On today's 18 date, the government is having her legal assistant send another copy of the motion as well as this 19 pleading to the defendant. There is no merit to defendant's assertion that the government failed 20 to provide defendant with a copy of any pleadings. The government has no objection to the 21 court granting defendant any additional time that the court feels is appropriate. 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 Respectfully submitted this 21st day of May, 2008.
