Based on articles 21 and 02 section "A" of the Political Constitution of the United States of Mexico; second
subsection II, 113 last paragraph, 118, 119, 168 and 180 of the Federal Code of Criminal Procedure; 1 second
paragraph, 4 subsection 1, sub-subsection A, clauses a), b) and c) as well as the next to the last paragraph of
sub-subsection A, and subsections III and V, 10 subsection IX and 11 subsection I sub-subsection b) ofthe
Organic Law of the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic; 1, 2, 3, 6, 15 and 28 subsection III of the
Rules and Regulations of the Organic Law ofthe Office of the Attorney General of the Republic; as well as the
Agreement A/068/03 of the Attorney General of the Republic, and in response to your request in official letter

Garcia, Esq. as to the facts referred to in the aforementioned document and in which he denies having provided
Miguel Angel Corrales Aranda, Esq. the documents at issue.
I also wish to advise you that as far as the administrative unit under my direction is concerned, we have no
objection to the attorneys Ivann Villaverde Garcia and J osé Luis Marmolejo Garcia testifying before the District
Court in Arizona. However, in accordance with the established rules and with the provisions of the Agreement
A/141/05 of the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic published in the Official Gazette of Mexico on
August 1, 2005, the Assistant Attorney for Legal and International Affairs (Subprocumdor Juridico y de
Asuntos Internacionales) of this institution is required to authorize the transportation of the aforementioned
public officials.
