In the United States Court of Federal Claims
No. 05-410 C (Filed: March 25, 2008) ************************************* MARIO R. LOPEZ-VELAZQUEZ, * * Plaintiff, * * v. * * THE UNITED STATES, * * Defendant. * ************************************* ORDER On March 25, 2008, plaintiff filed an Unopposed Motion for Enlargement of Time ("motion"). In its motion, plaintiff seeks an enlargement, to and including April 12, 2008, to file its cross-motion for judgment upon the administrative record and opposition to defendant's motions for judgment upon the administrative record and to dismiss. Plaintiff's current deadline is March 31, 2008, and plaintiff represents that defendant does not oppose this motion. Plaintiff states that its counsel is in hearings and preparation for hearings from March 27, 2008, through April 7, 2008. Additional time is required, plaintiff maintains, in order for its counsel to properly address defendant's motions. The court notes that plaintiff's counsel did not sign the motion as required by RCFC 11(a) and Appendix D ΒΆ 19. The Clerk of the Court is directed to file plaintiff's motion by leave of the court, and the court reminds plaintiff that all future filings must be signed by or for the attorney of record in compliance with the rules of the court. Accordingly, plaintiff's motion is GRANTED. Plaintiff shall file its cross-motion and opposition by no later than Monday, April 14, 2008.1 IT IS SO ORDERED.

Plaintiff's motion requested April 12, 2008, as its new filing deadline. Because that date falls on a Saturday, the court modified the deadline so that it falls on a weekday.
