THE UNITED STATES, Defendant. _________ ORDER __________ On November 8, 2007, the parties filed a joint status report indicating that they are engaged in settlement discussions. On November 27, 2007, the court held a status conference to discuss the progress of these settlement negotiations. The parties indicated their intent to continue settlement negotiations. Accordingly, on or before January 25, 2008, the parties shall file a joint status report indicating the status of settlement. As the court indicated during the status conference, if the status report does not indicate that substantial and concrete progress toward settlement is being made, the court will restore the case to the active docket. IT IS SO ORDERED.
