ORDER The court held a conference with the parties in the above-captioned case on January 14, 2008. The critical issues in the case were identified, addressed, and refined at the conference. The parties are commended for the cooperative and professional attitudes reflected during the conference discussion. The parties shall engage in initial and cooperative disclosure, as necessary, and shall continue discussions among themselves and agency personnel to determine if the case is amenable to early and amicable resolution, as the court believes. As agreed to by the parties, on or before Monday, February 25, 2008, the parties shall file a joint status report indicating their interactions by telephone and in person to that date, and settlement possibilities for the case, or, in the alternative, their discovery needs and a proposal on how to proceed. For the convenience of the parties, one party may file the joint status report with the consent of the other party.
