1 1 Upon motion of defendant Kristina Ingles for the fifth request to continue
jg trial, with no- objection from the government, with co-counsel joining this motion,
13 and good cause appearing, this court specifically finds that the ends of justice

served by taking this action outweigh the best interest ofthe public and the

16 defendant in a speedy trial. This finding is based on the court’s conclusion that the
17 failure to grant such a continuance would unreasonable deny the defendant
18 continuity of counsel and would deny the _attomey for defendant the reasonable

time necessary for effective preparation, taking into account the exercise of due

21 diligence. 18 U.S.C. §3I61(h)(8)(b)(IV).
