17 Plaintiff Connie B. Pappas and Lynn M. Laney, her undersigned
is attorney, present this verified First Amended Complaint pursuant to
19 Federal Rules of Civil Procedure ("FRCP") Rule 15(a) (to supersede the
zu complaint filed June 27, 2003), and renew their demand for a trial by
21 jury, pursuant to FRCP Rule 38(b).
22 NATURE OF CLAIMS
23 Plaintiff Pappas seeks relief herein for the Defendant’s two
24 violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. 2000e et
25 seq., by (Count One) sex discrimination in employment as prohibited by
