Dear Mr. Ward:
I ain writing to respond to your letter dated July 16, 2008. I have confirmed with Defendant
Stewart that he has had nothing to do with preventing you from accessing your legal books.
According to Deputy Warden Carrillo, you have 10 books in your cell, which are pennitted under
ADC policy. No inmate letters have been received indicating that you have had any difficulty
obtaining your books. However, I have been advised that ASPC-Eyman staff wilt be conducting a
book exchange with you today to make sure you have the books you need.
Sincerely,
Michele L. Forney W
