1 DECLARATION OF JESSICA RIGLEY MARREN
2 I, Jessica Rigley Marren, hereby declare as follows:
3 1. I am a staff attorney with the United States Securities and Exchange
4 Commission (the "Commission") duly licensed to practice law before this Court. I
5 am one of the attorneys representing the Commission in this action. I make this
6 declaration of my own personal knowledge, and if called to testify I would and
7 could do so competently.
8 2. In or about March 2006 the Commission staff reached an agreement in
9 principle with counsel for Defendant Nicole McDermott to resolve the pending
10 matter against her. On or about May 12, 2006, the staff reached an agreement in
1 1 principle regarding settlement with Defendant William Kenyon. On or about May
12 22, 2006, the Commission staff reached an agreement in principle with Defendant
13 Grant Seeger. All ofthe settlements must be approved by the Commission before
14 they can be finalized.
15 3. It is my experience that once the staff submits settlement
16 recommendations to Washington, D.C., it generally takes 30 to 60 days for ‘
17 Commission approval.
18 I declare under penalty of perjury under the laws of the United States that
