The court is in receipt of a joint statement regarding settlement, dated August 10, 2005, concerning the status of settlement negotiations between plaintiff and defendant (Clerk's Docket No. 40). In said

report, the parties indicate that additional time is needed for completion of the settlement and request until October 3, 2005, to file a stipulation for dismissal. The request is granted. Counsel will please present the appropriate closing papers on or before October 3, 2005. If for any reason

closing papers cannot be filed by that date, counsel shall serve and file a further brief status report, updating the court as to the progress of completing this case.
