17 this Court continue its oral argument on all pending matters currently scheduled for June 21, 18 2006 to a date after Friday, July 7, 2006. Because the Court does not have another date available 19 until August, and does not want to delay resolution of these motions that long, the Court will 20 vacate oral argument and decide the motion on the briefs. The parties have submitted 21 memoranda thoroughly discussing the law and evidence in support of their positions and the 22 Court therefore concludes that oral argument is not necessary. See Mahon v. Credit Bur. of 23 Placer County, Inc., 171 F.3d 1197, 1200 (9th Cir. 1999); Partridge v. Reich, 141 F.3d 920, 926 24 (9th Cir. 1998); Lake at Las Vegas Investors Group, Inc. v. Pacific. Dev. Malibu Corp., 933 F.2d 25 724, 729 (9th Cir. 1991), cert denied, 503 U.S. 920 (1992). 26 IT IS ORDERED that the oral argument on pending motions set for June 21, 1006 at 27 3:30 p.m. is vacated. 28
