United States of America, Plaintiff, v. Enrique Vega-Castaneda, Defendant. The United States of America, by and through undersigned counsel hereby submits this certificate of service. On July 14, 2006, the Court ordered the government to mail to the defendant a copy of the mail receipt confirming the delivery of a letter from the United States Border Patrol denying the defendant's petition for remission of property. The government subsequently obtained certified mail receipts from Border Patrol. (Exhibit A). On July 31, 2006, the government mailed the receipts along with a copy of the petition denial via certified mail to the defendant at the California City Correctional Center. (Exhibit B).
