The Harlem Globetrotters recently received the 2002-3 year-end summary of sales for the
Platinum FUBU/ Harlem Globetrotters apparel line including those items displaying Globetrotter
Alumni names and identities. , " I
As mentioned in a previous correspondence, I’m pleased to provide you with the attached i
_ summary of sales that included Alumni names. The quantities are relatively small compared to
the total Platinum FUBU/Harlem Globetrotters sales for the year.
A check in the amount of $ l 3,752 will be sent to the Harlem Globetrotters Foundation to
be used for charitable contributions on the behalf of the Alumni listed. "
Another check in the amount of $987 is being be sent to you which represents a standard
· licensing rate of 8% for the apparel sold containing your name and likeness as a former ‘
Harlem Globetrotters player.
If you’ve never seen the Platinum FUBU apparel with your name or likeness, give Gov a call and
. he’l1 try to send you a sample. Also, the amount shown on the list does not include discounts,
_ {returns or items given away in the store.
'Wefpotentially have the strongest Alumni in sports and for the most part, everyone has been.
cooperative and I sincerelyappreciate your letters and calls; For the few who have
needed special help when they’ve supplied the Foundation with the infomation required, we’ve
