I am sending this document to the U.S. Court on behalf of Mr. Jay Jeffers as he has not
been able to reeeiveelris mail at the Pinal County Jail. Please supplement ittotheabeve-ease. J "s·· ·‘ · · e
On September 30, 2005, at the request of Mr. Jeffers, I sent to him through the U.S.
Postal Service, 300 sheets of writing paper, ten legal size envelopes, ten 37 cent stamps, a pocket
dictionary, and an eraser. Also included were copies of legal documents that Mr. Jeffers had
asked me to copy for him. These items were placed in a postal service mailer and were mailed
from the Coolidge Post Office to Mr. Jeffers at the Pinal County Jail. Adequate postage was
aiiixed to the mailer in the amount the Coolidge Post Office representative advised was needed
for the items to be delivered. Also written on the outside of the mailer was a statement that it
contained "writing materials and legal papers."
About one week later, I learned from Mr. Jeffers that he had not received any of the items
I had sent to him. He expressed concern that I had not sent the items he requested. I assured Mr.
Jeffers that I had sent the items as related above. He then asked me to provide a written,
notarized account to the U.S. Court of what} sent to him. This doctunent serves as that account.
