Pursuant to the Court's Order dated August 17, 2005, Plaintiff DIRECTV, Inc. ("DIRECTV") submits this Status Report regarding settlement. On April 5, 2005, DIRECTV notified the Court that DIRECTV and Defendants Devin Esquibel and Melissa Esquibel had reached an agreement as to the material terms of settlement. As of this date, Defendants' counsel has informed DIRECTV that Defendants have signed all the necessary closing documents and the documents are being delivered to DIRECTV. DIRECTV anticipates the parties will be able to file the necessary closing papers no later than 10 days from this date.
