STATUS REPORT Plaintiff Paula M. Solis respectfully submits the following status report: 1. On March 31, 2005, this Court ordered the parties to file quarterly status reports

commencing June 28, 2005 in connection with a stay of proceedings pending the outcome of UNUM's reassessment of Ms. Solis's claim for long term disability benefits under its Claim Reassessment Process. 2. UNUM concluded its reassessment in September 2006 and reversed its previous

decision denying Ms. Solis's claim for long term disability benefits. In connection with its reversal, UNUM paid Ms. Solis back benefits plus interest. UMUM also requested that Ms. Solis submit a demand for attorney fees and costs. In response to that request, on September 29, 2006, Ms. Solis submitted a demand for costs and attorney fees to UNUM. UNUM

responded to Ms. Solis's demand on February 1, 2007. The parties have reached an agreement in principal regarding Ms. Solis' fees and costs incurred and expect to have settlement documents executed within two weeks. Respectfully submitted this 29th day of June 2007.
