DEFENDANT'S STATUS REPORT REGARDING MISSING WITNESS STATEMENT During the June 1, 2007 pretrial hearing, the Court directed that the Government file a status report, no later than Wednesday, June 6, 2007, regarding its progress in securing a copy of the hand-transcribed statement of plaintiff that was made during the De La Cova investigation. We are pleased to inform the Court that we have been able to secure that document and electronically transmitted a copy of it to plaintiff's counsel prior to the close of business on Monday, June 4, 2007.
