Exhibit C2a Recalculation of Appendix A
Notes
* During May of 1996 Precision Pine would not have been able to produce at capacity. Under the Court's scenario, Precision Pine would only have been able to harvest timber from the breached contracts for 5 days prior to being shut down for fire closure. Based on processing the timber harvested from the breached contracts in these 5 days plus the 3 weeks of logs that would have been in inventory at of the end of April [596 MBF (LS)] and adding the actual production from non-breached sales, total production would have been 2,778 MBF (LT). ** Under the Court's scenario, Precision Pine would have been suspended from harvesting timber from breached contracts during June 1996 because of fire closure. It would have already used up its inventory of logs in May. Therefore, the only lumber that would have been produced at Precision Pine's mills during June was the 1,258 MBF (LT) of actual production that came from non-breached timber sources. *** Under the Court's scenario, through July 8th Precision Pine would have been suspended from harvesting on the breached contracts. Accordingly, lumber production for July would only have equaled the production from nonbreached sources (i.e.actual production of 446 MBF (LT) ) plus 23/31 of the difference between capacity and actual production (i.e. production from the breached contracts would have constituted only 23/31 of what it would have been had there been no fire closure).

Exhibit C2c Recalculation of Timber Harvest - Breached Contracts as a Whole

Notes:
1. On May 6, 1996 the Forest Service suspended all harvesting, therefore the mills would have used all logs from breached sales by May 26,1996 (3 weeks from the start of the fire suspension). The actual production is 26 days/31 days of the available mill capacity for production of breached timber. 1,064 MBF (LT) * 26 / 31 = 892 MBF (LT) This would have required logs totaling 714 MBF (LS). Since 596 MBF (LS) were in inventory at April 30, 1996, actual harvest would be 118 MBF (LS). 2. On July 9, 1996 harvesting restrictions were lifted. Therefore the available mill capacity for production from breached timber would have been 1,858 MBF (LT) [(2,950 - 446) times 23 days divided by 31 days]. 3. The Timber Harvest required for available mill capacity exceeds the Available Timber from Breached Sales, therefore the November 1996 harvest will be reduced appropriately.
