ORDER

Pending before the Court are Defendant/Movant's April 4, 2008 "Second Request for A Status Hearing Or Transfer to the Trial Judge" (Doc. No. 634) and Defendant/Movant's "Second [sic] Request for a Status Hearing or Transfer to the Trial Judge."1 Defendant/Movant states that her Petition has been pending for over six months without a ruling or an evidentiary hearing. The District Judge has referred this matter to the undersigned Magistrate Judge pursuant to Local Rule of Civil Procedure 72.1 and 72.2 for further proceedings and a report and recommendation. Counsel's and Defendant/Movant's concerns are duly noted and a ruling from the Magistrate Judge is forthcoming. Accordingly,

IT IS ORDERED that Defendant/Movant's Requests for a Status Hearing or Transfer to the Trial Judge dated April 4, 2008 (Doc. No. 6342) and May 4, 2008 are GRANTED to the extent that this Order advises her of the status of her case and is DENIED to the extent that she requests a status hearing or transfer to the trial judge.
