DEFENDANT, MARVIN JERMAIN ERROL BURNET, through undersigned counsel, 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 However, Mr. Asser indicated that his normal fees were substantially higher that the 27 28 compensation stipend given to interpreters. Graciously, in lieu of his customary fee, Mr. Asser indicated he would accept the standard attorney fees paid to CJA counsel although his role in moves this Court to approve funds for the payment of time, travel and interpretation services of Dutch-speaking attorney, Mr. David Asser. Mr. Asser is a Scottsdale attorney who specializes in immigration law. Counsel for Mr. Burnet was given his name and contact information by the Dutch consulate contact. Mr. Asser has agreed to assist counsel in interpreting the plea agreement in this case. He has also agreed to travel to CCA, in Florence, Arizona in order to accomplish this task.

this case would be limited to assisting counsel for Mr. Burnet with interpretation from Dutch to English and from English to Dutch, as the circumstances required. Mr. Burnet is from Amsterdam and his primary language is Dutch. Mr. Asser's services are necessary in order to assist counsel to have Mr. Burnet understand the concepts of the plea
