COMES NOW PROBATION OFFICER Rhonda Spencer presenting an official report on Glen A.
Beck who was placed on probation on June 20, 2005, by the Honorable Roger G. Strand presiding in
the District Court of Arizona. A five-year period of probation was imposed. In addition to the general
terms and conditions adopted by the court, the offender was ordered to comply with the following special
conditions:
1. You shall submit your person, property (including, but not limited to computer, electronic devices,
and storage media), residence, office, or vehicle to a search conducted by a probation ofncer, at
a reasonable time and in a reasonable manner.
2. You shall provide the probation officer access to any requested financial information.
3. You are prohibited from making major purchases, incurring new financial obligations, or entering
into any financial contracts without the prior approval of the probation officer.
4. You shall cooperate in the collection of DNA as directed by the probation officer.
Glen A. Beck was convicted of wire fraud. A
RESPECTFULLY PRESENTING PETITION FOR ACTION OF COURT FOR CAUSE
AS FOLLOWS:
Allegation A: Violation of Standard Condition No. 2: You shall not leave the judicial district or other
specified geographic area without the permission of the Court or probation officer.
In June 2005, at the outset of supervised release, the defendant was informed he would be allowed to
travel to California for business without the written permission of the probation officer. However, he
needed to secure permission in advance to travel to any other states.
Southwest Airlines records indicate the defendant flew from Phoenix to Tampa, Florida on December
20, 2005 and December 8, 2006. He did not have permission from the probation officerto do so. Grade
C violation.
On February 6, 2007, the probation officer directed the defendant, in writing, to "Request, in writing,
permission for travel outside the District of Arizona. Requests are to be submitted 10 days in advance.
lf immediate travel is necessary, not allowing for 10 days notice, you shall request permission to travel
with as much advance notice as possible. You are not to travel outside the District of Arizona without the
permission of the probation officer." The probation officer had rescinded the defendant's ability to travel
to California without permission due to deceitful behavior.

On April 10, 2007, the probation officer received documentation from Southwest Airlines which verified
l the defendant travefed from Phoenix to San Jose, California on: February 6, 2007; February 12, 2007;
and March 19, 2007. The defendant had not requested permission to travel outside the District of
Arizona, nor had he been given permission to do so by the probation officer. Grade C violation.
Allegation B: Violation of Standard Condition No. 3: You shall report to the Probation Office as
directed by the Court or probation officer, and shall submit a truthful and complete written report within
the first five days of each month.
On March 5, 2007, the probation office received the defendant's Monthly Supervision Report submitted
by the defendant for the month of February, 2007. Within the box which asks, "Did you travel outside the
district without permission?" the defendant checked the no box.
On April 3, 2007, the probation office received the defendant's Monthly Supervision Report submitted
by the defendant for the month of March, 2007. Within the box which asks, "Did you travel outside the
district without permission’?" the defendant checked the no box.
As evidenced by the travel records of Southwest Airlines, the defendant traveled outside the district
without permission in February and March of 2007. Grade C violation.
Allegation C: Violation of Standard Condition No. 4: You shall answer truthfully all inquiries by the
probation officer and follow the instructions of the probation officer.
In June 2005, the defendant indicated he slept on a cot in his office when he traveled to the San
Francisco Bay area for employment. On August 10, 2006 and January 17, 2007, the defendant advised
the probation officer that the address of this office was 530 Lawrence Expressway, Sunnyvale, CA,
94085. Throughout investigation, the probation officer was able to determine this address is actually a _
post office box within a U.S. Post Office. Grade C violation.
Allegation D: Violation of Speciai Condition No. 2: You shall provide the probation officer access to
any requested financial information.
On February 6, 2007, the probation officer directed the defendant, in writing, to "Provide the lease/rental
contract for any and all office space in all districts. This needs to be provided to the probation officer by
March 5, 2007.“ To date, the defendant has not supplied this information.
On February 6, 2007, the probation officer directed the defendant, in writing, to "Provide your credit card
statements for all credit cards, personal and business, for the months of August, September, October,
November, and December, 2006, and January, 2007. To date, the defendant has not supplied this
information. Grade C violation.
Allegation E: Violation of Special Condition No. 3: You are prohibited from making major purchases, -
incurring new financial obligations, or entering into any financial contracts without the prior approval of
the probation officer.
On August 6, 2005, the probation officer met with the defendant at the probation office. The expense of
the defendant's apartment was discussed due to the large amount of restitution ordered by the Court.
At the time, the defendant paid $929 fora studio apartment. The probation officer advised the defendant

expired, the defendant would be expected to move to a more reasonably priced apartment. The
defendant stated he understood.
On March 1, 2006, the defendant entered a new lease at the apartment complex in which he'd previously
lived. However, he leased a two bedroomltwo bath apartment for which the rent was $1,260.46 per
month. The defendant entered into this financial contract without the prior approval of the probation
officer.
On January 1, 2007, the defendant entered a new lease forthe same apartment in which he'd previously
resided. The rent had increased to $1,290.96 per month. The defendant entered into this financial
contract without the prior approval of the probation officer. Grade C violation. _
AFFIDAVIT AND PETITION PRAYING THAT THE COURT WILL ORDER A SUMMONS BE
ISSUED
In conformance with the provision of 28 U.S.C. § 1746, I declare, under penalty of perjury, that the
foregoing is true and correct to the best of my knowledge. Based on the information presented that the
offender has violated conditions of supervision, i am petitioning the Court to issue a summons.
