The stay was entered so Plaintiff could participate in the Claim Reassessment Process made available to him by Defendants as part of a multi-state regulatory settlement agreement. (see Doc. 48 & 49). At a hearing on August 2, 2005, the Court ordered that the stay remain in effect and directed counsel for the parties to file a status report by November 2, 2005. (see Doc. 51). Defendants filed a status report on November 2, 2005. (Doc. 52). Plaintiff filed a status report on November 3, 2005. (Doc. 53). Defendants state that Provident Life and Casualty Insurance Company anticipates that reassessment of Plaintiff's claim will be completed within the next 90 days. (Doc. 52). Plaintiff states that Defendant has indicated it is unable to determine when review will be completed. (Doc. 53). // //
