representinglthe Medical Center. I work closely with contracting companies to assure proper completion of jobs
and adherence to company guidelines. I work with people from assigned veterans to treatmentteams, individual
physicians, social workers, psychologists, nursing personnel, Resource Management Service (RMS) personnel, and _

The President signed the Ticket to Work and Work Incentives Improvement Act- of 1999 on`December 17, This -

As a personnel assistant I was expected to use initiative in planning and carrying out daily work. My work was
reviewed for conformance to policies and regulations, timeliness, and satisfaction of the personnel serviced. I

Public Law 105 -339: Allows preference eligible or veterans who are honorably discharged nom the armed forces
alter three or more years of active service to compete for vacant position; only if the hiring agency is accepting `

replace the Veterans Rearhustrnent Act (VRA). but allows those veterans who no longer quality under the VRA to

Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974, as amended, 38 U.S.C. 2014. Requires each Federal p
* agency to develop a plan to promote employment and job advancement opportunities for qualified disabled
Veterans. The Vietnam Era Veterans Rerzafustment Assistance expired on December 31, 199, for veterans who

_ I assisted with the perparation and implemention of the Worker Trainee Program, Summer Youth P1‘93I31¤¤ Stay-
in-School Program. I also assisted with the placement of People with Disabilities into positions where they could
achieve a successful work performance. I was responsible for the Work Studies Program prior to the program
being reassigned to the Mental Health Department I work with several private organizations in the placement of
_ Veterans into positions at the Medical Center and the National Memorial Cemetery.
