HON: JAMES A. TEILBORG Caption: Warfield v. Alaniz, et. al.
Judge # 7025
Deputy Clerk: Sandi Fredlund
Crt Rptr/ECR: David German
Plaintiff's counsel: Ryan Anderson and Michael Zdancewicz for the Receiver Defendants' counsel: Burton M. Bentley ============================================================================= Counsel present argument on the Receiver's Motion for an Order Certifying the Amended Judgment for Registration in Foreign Districts [doc. 630]. The Court finds the avowal of counsel and the written assertions of counsel in the Motion constitute good cause and an adequate showing of the absence of assets in foreign districts. The Court further finds that there's been no contest by written filing or oral assertion by Defendants that the Receiver's assertions are incorrect. Accordingly, THE COURT ORDERS that the Receiver's Motion [doc. 630] is GRANTED. Regarding the writs that have been sought and in several instances issued, the Court directs the courtroom deputy to have a magistrate judge drawn to resolve any disputes that may occur. After random draw, Magistrate Judge Lawrence O. Anderson is drawn to resolve any issues regarding the writs of garnishment in this matter.
Time in Court: 20 mins.
