Petition to Revoke Supervised Release if
COMES NOW PROBATION OFFICER B. Pamela Seider presenting an official report on Todd
Aaron THOMAS who was committed to the Bureau of Prisons on August 7, 2000, by the Honorable Paul
G. Rosenblatt presiding in the District Court of Arizona. A 3 year period of supervised release was
imposed, and supervision commenced upon the offender's discharge from imprisonment on August 6,
2001.
On September 30, 2003, supervised release was revoked and Todd Aaron Thomas was committed to
the Bureau of Prisons for 8 months, followed by 28 months supervised release. On April 30, 2004, the
offender was discharged from imprisonment. In addition to the general terms and conditions adopted
by the court in Generai Order 04-11, the offender was ordered to comply with the following special
conditions:
1. You shali reside and participate in a community corrections center for up to 180 days and shall
comply with the rules of the faciiity.
2. You shall participate as instructed by the probation officer in a program of substance abuse
treatment which may include testing for substance abuse. You shall contribute to the cost of
treatment in an amount to be determined by the probation officer.
3. You shall submit to search of person, property, vehicles, business and residence to be conducted
in a reasonable manner and at a reasonable time by, or at the direction of the probation officer.
4. You shall provide the probation ofHcer access to any requested financial information.
Todd Aaron THOMAS was convicted of Possession of Stolen Mail, a Class D felony, in violation of 18
USC §1708.
RESPECTFULLY PRESENTING PETITION FOR ACTION OF COURT FOR CAUSE
AS FOLLOWS:
A. Violation of Standard Condition #1: "You shall not commit another federal, state, or local
crime during the temw of supervision."
On December 7, 2005, Thomas was arrested and charged with Kidnaping for Involuntary
Servitude (ARS 13-1304A.2); Aggravated Assault (ARS 13-1 204A.1 ), Possession of Dangerous
Drugs, Drug Paraphernalia and DUI Drugs. According to Payson Police reports, Thomas
kidnaped and bound a female victim, in retaliation for a prior argument the female victim had
with his girlfriend. A search warrant executed of Thomas' residence found evidence to support
the charges, along with drug paraphernalia. A Grade B violation.
