15 This matter is presently set for trial on August 5, 2005. The government has filed a
16 motion to continue and the defendant does not oppose a continuance.
17 The Court finds the ends of justice served by granting a continuance outweigh the best
18 interests of the public and the defendant in a speedy trial because failure to grant the
19 continuance is likely to result in a miscarriage of justice if the government is required to go
20 to trial on the present trial date because of the reasons set forth in the governments motion.
