Defendant is indigent and counsel was appointed to represent him under the Criminal Justice Act. Counsel makes the request for the following reasons: Defendant is a Spanish speaker. The services of the court appointed Spanish interpreter were necessary to ensure that counsel provides effective assistance of counsel by adequately communicating with defendant. /// /// ///
