Plaintiff Karen Grace and defendant Pinnacle West Capital Corporation Long Term Disability Plan ("the Plan") jointly request the Court to grant a short two-week extension of the dispositive motion deadline in the above-captioned matter. The parties are currently in the process of settlement negotiations and have exchanged information and calculations regarding a potential settlement. The parties are in agreement that the prospects for settlement will be significantly enhanced if they are not forced to unnecessarily incur attorneys' fees and costs in connection with preparation of dispositive motions which are due on February 24, 2006. Accordingly, the parties respectfully request a two-week continuance while they engage in continued settlement discussions. This very limited extension will not effect the other deadlines in this case.
