The official title of this uncovered position is Chief of Capitol Police Complex, class code 01676, position number AAD0101AHO, and pay grade E2 on the executive salary schedule. Your annual salary will be $65,000, and your annual leave accrued rate will be fourteen (14) hours per month. You may carry forward up to 320 hours of accrued annual leave from one calendar year to the next Sick leave will be accrued at eight (8) hours per month. MOBILITY ASSIGNMENT AGREEMENT
In accordance with the Department of Administration, Personnel Rule R2-5-208, the undersigned parties agree to the terms set forth herein to permit, Andrew D. Staubitz SSN 351 -50-4253, Capitol Police Lieutenant, Grade 22, $50,944 annually (hereinafter referred to as the employee) to accept a mobility assignment from a covered position with the Department of Administration. The terms of the mobility assignment are as follows: 1. The employee is accepting an uncovered position as AD Chief of Police Capitol Complex, Class Code 01676, Position Number AAD0101AHO, located at 1700 West Washington, Phoenix, Arizona. As an uncovered employee, Andrew D. Staubitz will be paid at Grade E2, $66,450 annually. 2. This mobility assignment shall begin on February 8,2002 and will conclude on February 8, 2004. 3. An extension of this assignment may be granted by written approval of all parties. 4. According to Article 2 of the Arizona Department of Administration Rules "the employee has the right to return to a position in the original agency in the same pay grade held before the mobility assignment if the employee possesses the required knowledge, skills and abilities. ...(See R2-5-208.D.) The salary for such a position in the same pay grade includes the percentage increase for any intervening general salary adjustments for which the employee was eligible and the dollar amount of any performance increase which the employee was eligible and the dollar amount of any performance increase which the employee was awarded during the period of this mobility assignment. (See R2-5-303.G). 5. The employee will accrue fourteen hours of annual leave and eight hours of sick leave each month during the period of this mobility assignment. The maximum annual leave accrual is 320 hours. Annual leave in excess of 320 hours as of December 31, of each calendar year, shall be forfeited unless an exception is authorized by the Director of the Department of Administration.

The employee's current unused annual leave shall be transferred in wholeto this uncovered leave account at the start of the mobility assignment. Unused annual leave transferred and unused annual leave earned while on the mobility assignment shall be transferred in whole to their covered service leave account at the termination of the mobility assignment. Unused sick leave transferred and unused sick leave earned while on mobility assignment shall be transferred in the same manner as the annual leave. 7. This agency agrees to consider all time spent by the employee in the uncovered position as continuous State Service for all purposes, as set forth in the applicable Department of Administration Personnel Rules. 8. The employee's existing health insurance benefits will continue in force during the period of this assignment. , 9. The employee will continue to contribute to the Arizona State Retirement System during the period of this assignment. 1.0.This mobility assignment can be canceled by either the Department of Administration or the employee at any time.
