I received your "Interrogatories for Defends.nts" today. In reviewing the document, I noted
that you have suhmitted 124 interrogatories. Included in your pleading are interrogatories directed
tothe SPCA, loltn Saville { an SPCA employee}, Aaron Goldstein (a foncner Assistant City Solicitor
who is not a named de fendant}, and twelve [l 2) Wilmington Police Department oftlcers who are also
not named det`endants, but at this point, only witnesses to the alleged events contained in your
complaint.
Please he advised that according to the Court’s Urders dated Ivlay 20, 2005 and June ld,
2005, you are only permitted a total ofg (I0} interrogatories including sub-parts, directed solely
to the City Defendants. Therefore, consistent with the Court’s order, kindly suhrnit to me a total of
g ( l 0) interrogatories directed to the City Defendants. Once I run in receipt ofyour interrogatories,
I will promptly provide you with the Defendants’ responses so that you may Hle a supplemental
response to the City’s lvlotion for Summary Judgment, if any, by August I5, 2005.
