Section 402.002 of the Texas Business Organizations Code (BOC) makes BOC filing fees applicable to comparable filings made under the Texas Business Corporation Act, Texas Professional Corporation Act, Texas Non-Profit Corporation Act, Texas Professional Association Act, Texas Limited Liability Company Act, Texas Miscellaneous Corporation Laws Act, Texas Revised Limited Partnership Act, and the Texas Revised Partnership Act.

No fee MasterCard, Visa, and Discover credit cards are accepted in payment of fees. Fees paid by credit card are subject to a statutorily authorized convenience fee of 2.7 percent of the total fees. Expedited Processing

A cover letter containing a daytime phone number should accompany the filing instrument/order. The cover must specifically request expedited processing. The instrument or order request will be processed by close of business on the business day following the day of receipt. Expedited processing is not provided for trademark documents. The fees associated with an SOSDirect account are the fees imposed for a document filing, for copies and certificates ordered, and inquiries submitted. The cost of an inquiry is $1.00 per name searched. The $1.00 fee is not charged when the search is made when ordering copies/certificates or when making a document filing. XVIII. Merger and Conversion Fees
The fee for the merger of a domestic filing entity must include the formation fee for each newly created domestic filing entity. For example, the total fee for the merger of two Texas corporations that creates a new Texas limited partnership is $1050. When the converted entity (the entity after the conversion) is a Texas entity, the conversion fee must include the fee for the formation of the converted domestic entity. For example, the total fee for converting a Texas corporation to a Texas limited liability company is $600.
