INSTRUCTIONS
1. 2. The fee for filing an Assignment of Registration is $10.00. The assignment of registered marks is accomplished under the authority of §16.17, Texas Business and Commerce Code. An assignment may be made only by a duly executed written instrument. No verification is required; however, §16.28, Texas Business and Commerce Code provides that: No person may procure for himself or another the filing of an application or the registration of a mark under this chapter by knowingly making a false or fraudulent representation or declaration, oral or written, or by any other fraudulent means. 3. Submit the original and a copy of the Assignment of Registration along with the $10.00 filing fee to the Trademark Examiner at the address shown in the heading of this form. The delivery address is James Earl Rudder Office Building, 1019 Brazos, Austin, Texas 78701. We will place one copy of the document on record and return to the remitter a filed stamped copy along with a Certificate of Assignment of the Certificate of Registration.
