Movant Elizabeth K. Pietsch respectfully requests that the Court permit her to withdraw as counsel for Plaintiff Lillian F. Sandle in the above referenced action. Ms. Pietsch has resigned from Hogan & Hartson, LLP effective August 25, 2006. Under the circumstances, Ms. Pietsch can no longer represent the Plaintiff. Sean R. Gallagher and Dugan Bliss of Hogan & Hartson, LLP have also represented Plaintiff through this case and will be assuming Ms. Pietsch's responsibilities in this case. Counsel for Defendant Anthony J. Principi has indicated that they have no objection to this motion. WHEREFORE, Elizabeth K. Pietsch respectfully requests that the Court grant her leave to withdraw as counsel for Plaintiff.
