("Varco"), by and through its counsel, respectfully submits this unopposed motion requesting the Court to schedule a Markman hearing and set a status conference in this patent infringement action. In support hereof, Varco states as follows: 1. By Order dated January 2, 2007 (Docket No. 135) the Court accepted the

Markman briefing schedule proposed jointly by Varco and Pason Systems USA Corp. ("Pason"). As of February 23, 2007, the parties had submitted all briefs and claim charts required by the Court's Order. 2. The claim construction issues are now ripe for the Court's review. Varco

respectfully requests that the Court schedule a Markman hearing concerning the claim construction issues to be determined by the Court and also set a status conference as soon as the Court's docket will permit.
