Credited Service For these individuals Credited Service for employment prior to the acquisition date is determined as follows. 1.

For Years of Service prior to January 1, 1975, years and completed months of continuous service fiom most recent date of hire to December 3 1, 1974. For Years of Service on and after January 1, 1975, a Year of Service is credited for each calendar year in which 1,000 hours of service were completed prior to the participant's normal retirement date.
Applicable Benefit Formula for (4)(b)(iii) 1. Average Earnings: Average W-2 earnings for the five consecutive calendar years out of the last 10 Years of Credited Service which produce the highest average, assuming W-2 earnings remain level after 1978 and equal 1978 W-2 earnings. Prospective Benefit: (a), minimum (b) (a) (0.5% of Average Earnings plus 0.5% of Average Earnings in excess of $9,000) times Years of Credited Service.
