(collectively "Qwest") and Plaintiff Shriners Hospitals for Children jointly request that this Court enter the Proposed Order Extending Time and Setting a Briefing Schedule that is attached to this motion.1 As good grounds therefore, Qwest states as follows:

Plaintiff filed its Complaint in Shriners Hospitals for Children v. Arthur

Andersen & Company, et al., No. 06-CV-02189-REB ("Shriners II") on October 31, 2006. Plaintiff has served Qwest with the Shriners II Complaint. 2. On November 29, 2006, pursuant to Rule 42(a) of the Federal Rules of

Civil Procedure and Local Rule 42.1, Qwest Communications International Inc. filed an Unopposed Motion to Consolidate Shriners II with Shriners Hospitals for Children v. Qwest Communications International Inc., No. 04-CV-0781-REB-PAC ("Shriners I"). 3. On December 6, 2006, this court granted Qwest's Unopposed Motion to

Consolidate (Docket No. 108). 4. Complaint. 5. To maximize the efficient use of the parties' resources and to aid the Plaintiff has not yet served other Defendants with the Shriners II

efficient administration of justice, the parties jointly propose that the Court extend the time to answer or otherwise respond to the Complaint and impose the following briefing schedule: a. Any defendant who has been served on or before December 15,

2006 shall file an answer or motion to dismiss on or before January 15, 2007; b. Plaintiff may file its opposition(s) to any such motion(s) on or before

February 14, 2007; and c. Any defendant may file its Reply in support of such motion to

dismiss on or before March 16, 2007.

The parties submit that conserving resources and coordinating to develop

a stipulated schedule aids the efficient administration of justice and provides good cause to allow an extension of time. WHEREFORE, the parties respectfully request that this Court enter the Order Extending Time and Setting a Briefing Schedule attached hereto.
